Poha Chivda and the Citric Acid Cycle!!!

Poha Chivda is a delicious Indian snack made of rice flakes, peanuts, salt, sugar, chiles, and CITRIC ACID (see recipe: http://kimberliskitchen.blogspot.com/2011/03/beer-and-poha-chiwda.html)

Picture cred to the blog I linked to above!

I am currently studying at Nami's adorable studio in the Back Bay, and I'm eating Poha Chivda (Nami calls it Ponwa Chevdra, but google says its Poha Chivda...?), and thus Citric Acid, while studying the Citric Acid cycle (part of the process that breaks down glucose into energy).

Poha Chivda is delicious - spicy (chiles), sweet (sugar), sour (Citric Acid), salty, nutty (peanuts) - what more could you ask for?

Just wanted to share!
